Allomorphy

Cautionary note: The following introduction to "allomorphy" is a quick and dirty discussion that helps you solve some interesting morphology problems without spending sleepless nights. Basically, I will refer to allomorphy any time a single morpheme shows up with more than one pronunciation (form). This ignores some important issues about such such cases, such as when the change in shape is due to basic facts about the sound system of the language.
